Now a days blogging is become more popular then wordpress. Everyone wants to start there business online through blogging. After starting the blogger user wants to have the most popular posts at the top. So every customer can easily access to the popular posts of that blog. The thumbnails are included in the popular posts widget automatically. User can add description and thumbs on its desires. Adding Popular Posts With Thumbnails Widget to Blogger
Kindly follow these steps one by one,
- Go To Blogger > Template
- Backup your template from Backup/Restore at the right top
- Come back to Layout
- Now Click Add a Gadget button
- Choose Popular Posts from the list
- After choosing popular posts by clicking on the Popular Posts widget.
- The customization of popular posts is displayed on your screen
- Choose desired Title of the Widget in the Title bar. I choose Popular Posts
- Select most viewed posts sort by All Time, Last 30 days or Last 7 Days. I choose All time
- Show the pictures with posts by clicking image thumbnail. I select image thumbnail
- The snippet option can be displayed the descripton of the post. I select snippet
- Select the number of popular posts you want to show at the sidebar. I select 10 posts to show
After adding the popular posts widget seccesfully, you can easily drag and drop this widget to anywhere in the blog. The popular posts recommended position is on right sidebar. Just place this widget in the middle of the sidebar.
- At the end just save your settings by clicking on save arrangement orange button and view your blog and popular posts widget is successfully installed.
If user wants to edit and customize the popular posts widget later. Just simply click on Edit button of the popular posts widget and see the configurations is opened at your screen. Just change the setting that you want and save the widget and also save the arrangement to complete the adding of popular posts widget succesfully.
